We made good progress over the last week – had some excellent days! Weather has been good – not too often you get this long of continuous harvest days in a row. Especially in October! We are having highs in the low 20’s which is rare for October.
We are down to the last 700 acres as of this morning – and the forecast is calling for rain tonight….we will push as long as we can. We will likely have about 200ac left to go after today. If it does rain then it will be later this week before we can get going again. Daytime highs are forecast to be more normal which is high single digits.
As today is Thanksgiving we all have a lot to be thankful for. We are especially thankful for the top notch employees we have – it’s been a grind of a harvest – and the wheels just keep on turning – some days are harder than others but everyone has been doing an excellent job.
