For the week of September 16th – 23rd
This will be a shorter update. We had a series of weather events move through the area over the last week. Didn’t end up back in the field all week until the weekend. We still managed to get some canola off, most of it was higher moisture, which we know we will have dryer canola later on to blend the moisture down.
Yields are variable, some are respectable, some are disappointing. Disease pressure was quite extensive this year and even though we sprayed it all with fungicide, it looks like one of the fungicides we used was not the premium product that it was supposed to be. Will have to do a few more fields to get a better sense.
